This innovative form creates a central green roof, flanked by solar-tiled roofs, offering panoramic 180° vistas across valleys and forests. Full-height bi-folding windows seamlessly connect the interior with the outdoors, while stepped terraces invite guests to practice yoga amidst nature.

Inside, the studio radiates warmth and tranquility. Luxe, chevron-patterned timber floors and bespoke bamboo ceilings with integrated, ambient lighting create a sophisticated yet soothing atmosphere. Biophilic interiors are amplified by expansive windows on three sides, flooding the space with natural light and framing breathtaking views.

SHALaNEST sets a new benchmark for sustainable architecture and energy-efficient homes in Portugal. The structure eliminates concrete in favour of locally sourced stone gabions and steel piles supporting the bamboo frame. Bamboo, a renewable resource available in Portugal, offers exceptional durability and a low carbon footprint. Hempcrete block walls deliver superior thermal insulation, keeping the interior cool in summer and warm in winter.
