Knollys House, nestled in the heart of Streatham, South West London, reimagines the classic semi-detached home for the discerning British resident. The client’s vision was clear, to elevate everyday living with a luxe home design that seamlessly integrates modern enhancements while preserving comfort and character. Their aspirations included a welcoming porch extension, an open-plan kitchen and dining area that flows effortlessly to the garden, and a tranquil master suite in the converted loft, each detail tailored for refined living and entertaining.

Our architectural approach to Knollys House is a celebration of sustainable architecture and timeless elegance. The expanded entrance, crowned by a skylight, bathes the lobby in natural light, setting a sophisticated tone from the moment you arrive. Bi-folding glazed doors in the open-plan living space dissolve boundaries between interior and exterior, framing verdant garden vistas and maximising daylight.
The loft conversion, with its bi-folding windows and Juliet balcony, offers a serene retreat above the treetops, blending form and function in true British residential architect fashion.

INTERIOR + FIT-OUT DESIGN
Every interior detail speaks of bespoke luxury and wellness. The kitchen’s central island, integrated cooker, and extended worktop invite convivial gatherings, while the minimalistic cloakroom under the stairs exemplifies discreet sophistication. Biophilic interiors are expressed through natural materials and a palette inspired by the garden, fostering a sense of calm and connection.
