DESIGN BRIEF
Kendall Pond is “The One” where your vision finds its home in the tranquil heart of Windham, New Hampshire. Our client’s aspiration was clear: create a luxe home design that fuses timeless sophistication with sustainable innovation. The brief called for an eco-friendly renovation of a circa 300m² residence—reimagining every space, from the entrance lobby to the sunroom, four bedrooms, and a bespoke lower-ground retreat, while introducing new amenities such as a dedicated home office, gym, and a garden orangery. The result is a sanctuary that elevates daily living and celebrates the harmony of nature and design.

ARCHITECTURE
Our architectural approach champions both form and function, guided by biophilic principles and the natural beauty of Kendall Pond’s Windham setting. Clean lines, large windows, and timber structural elements create an elegant dialogue between interior and landscape. Sustainable architecture is at the core: solar panels, solar tiles, and an air source heat pump deliver energy-efficient homes without compromise.
External works include a new garage, man shed, and stone boundary fences, all thoughtfully integrated to enhance privacy and celebrate the property’s green roof and eco-friendly features.

INTERIOR + FIT-OUT DESIGN
Step inside to discover biophilic interiors where bespoke craftsmanship and wellness converge. Every room—each bedroom, the living room, and the conservatory—features luxe materials, custom joinery, and a palette inspired by the surrounding woods. The lower ground is transformed into a tranquil suite with a second living room, master bedroom with ensuite, and flexible spaces for work and fitness.
The orangery invites residents to grow their own produce, while the sunroom and conservatory offer restorative, light-filled retreats. Each detail is curated for comfort, elegance, and well-being.

SUSTAINABILITY + ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN
Sustainability is the beating heart of Kendall Pond. Eco-friendly renovation strategies include a green roof, blue roof technology, rainwater harvesting, grey water reuse, and biobased materials such as timber and hempcrete. The landscape design features drought-resistant shrubs, a fire pit, and a hammock for outdoor relaxation.
