ARCHITECTURE
DUBiHIVE stands as a modular masterpiece of sustainable architecture, inspired by Dubai’s architectural legacy and contemporary innovation. The home features hemp bio-composite prefabricated systems, ensuring a climate-positive footprint. Twin structural spine walls anchor the house, symbolizing unity and strength, while a central wind tower harnesses natural ventilation and passive cooling.
The palette red. green, white, and black woven into the interiors for sophistication honours the UAE flag. Every detail, from solar roofs to timber shutters, is curated to harmonize beauty, sustainability, and cultural respect, making DUBiHIVE a reference point for eco-friendly renovation by a British residential architect abroad.

The interiors of DUBiHiVE are a sanctuary of wellness and luxury. The natural, breathable materials regulate humidity and improve air quality, creating a healthier living environment. The ground floor features a traditional majlis for social gatherings, complemented by modern living spaces like a spacious kitchen and living room.

These terraces are designed for future adaptability, allowing seamless extensions. The interiors are finished with natural plaster, embracing the concept of breathable architecture, while timber accents and pastel tones add a touch of elegance.

SUSTAINABILITY + ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN
Sustainability is the heart of DUBiHIVE. The home’s modular structure uses eco-friendly, bio-based materials, such as hemp and wood to store CO₂ and minimize waste. Solar panels and heat pumps drive energy efficiency, delivering up to three days of autonomy from battery storage. A green roof in Dubai, lush foliage, and strategic shading foster biodiversity and regulate temperature, while a demountable design allows for zero waste and future adaptability.
